Today's yield update
Hi, I see you updated your US yield today in light of USDA's huge number, but you have the date as "7 November (latest)". Shouldn't this be 9 November? You were showing 172.6 earlier today.
Hi Josh,
Thank you for your comment. Our US corn yield is updated daily on our platform. The website is reflecting our November 7th number with a slight delay. You’ll be able to access our November 9th yield forecast on our data platform, Gro.

I appreciate the clarification and the new chart. But there's no doubt your public website was showing 172.6 earlier today... so you can understand my confusion. Perhaps you didn't plan to update your free forecast unless USDA confirmed it with a large jump?

Hi Josh,
We've just posted a chart of our weekly progress since our October 13 forecast. Our subscribers have been able to see our model update daily and continue to rise from the high-at-the-time 172.6 forecast on October 13 to its current value. The increase appeared in late October. You can view the progress here: https://gro-intelligence.com/us-corn-yield

Thanks... so you're saying your forecast jumped up 2.5 bpa on Nov 7, after saying on Oct 13 "we don’t expect any further significant changes in our estimate".
Any indications of what would have caused that jump? It sure seems coincidental, coming 2 days before the unexpected USDA increase.
